First UMC offers a wide array of classes held on several days of the week. Our emphasis is on spiritual centering with a conscious understanding of the spirit-filled life. Classes are scheduled in short and long term offerings.
Sunday Conversation: This 45-minute gathering at 11:15 each Sunday is a space to explore sermon and scripture topics more thoroughly, hear from guest speakers on pressing issues of our day, learn about spiritual disciplines and much more. Each Conversation stands on its own – no long-term commitment necessary.
Study groups are both formal and informal and organized so as to foster strong ties between the members of the congregation. Below is a list of some of our regularly scheduled discipleship groups.
