To all who came to celebrate with us during our anniversary weekend...

Thank You!!!!!

We love being part of this community. We're here for GOOD!

First United Methodist Church Pasadena has been a part of the Pasadena community for nearly 150 years, always located in the heart of the city.

The congregation was established in 1874 when the first Prayer Meeting and Sunday School was formed in what would later become the city of Pasadena.

Since then, our church has occupied four campuses, the last of which is the neo-gothic beauty (completed in 1924) we call home today.

Much has changed since that first Prayer meeting 150 years ago. We've grown, diversified, and become embedded in the fabric of Pasadena and the surrounding community. We're proud of creating a welcoming place for all to worship and explore their faith. We're also dedicated to continuing our work to create a more loving world through our many ministries and service projects in Pasadena and beyond. Here's to another 150 years of opening minds, hearts, and doors!

This kind of party only comes once every 150 years.

First United Methodist Church, Pasadena is turning 150! What’s our birthday wish? To celebrate with you, of course!

Our family keeps growing.

Over the past 150 years, the FUMC family has continued to grow. We’re proud to be your neighborhood church, with “plenty good room” for all!

We look good for our age.

A lot has changed in the past 150 years, but one thing remains the same: We serve our community with faith and love...and we look good doing it!

Break bread on the boulevard.

We love our location in the Playhouse District on Colorado Blvd. Visitors and neighbors alike come by to take in our beautiful architecture, pray in our chapel, join in our many activities, or for Sunday worship. Come break bread on the boulevard with us!
