About Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a wonderful opportunity for children to practice their faith in an inclusive environment. The curriculum this year, JUST LIKE ME , uses Biblical characters and the practice of gardening to help students build vital social and spiritual skills that support active faith development.
This VBS will help kids celebrate their own identities as beloved creations of God—just as they are. Over the course of the week, campers will be introduced to a cast of "neighborhood gardeners" who will help them explore Biblical stories of people who were able to change things for the better. Each day will have a special theme for children to explore:
Day 1: Wonder
Day 2: I Have Something to Shout About
Day 3: I Have Something to Share
Day 4: I Need My People
Day 5: I Have Something to Say
